About Us

“Eight maids ‘a milkin’” was a joke we often heard in childhood.  We grew up on the family dairy farm with our six other sisters.  Our Catholic faith was central to our upbringing, from our Catholic school days to our family rosary every night, we knew it was special.

Many years later, we still marvel at the mysteries of our faith and set out on a mission to share it with others.

CATHOLIC

Catholic Country Chronicles is rooted in our Catholic identity.

COUNTRY

We believe that our rural background shapes how we view the world around us.

CHRONICLES

Storytelling is the way that Jesus Himself moved hearts.  We use our stories to speak to the hearts of our readers now, to help them see the relevancy of the Gospel message.

We are excited to share how the Lord is working in our lives and hope that a story or two will resonate with you.

Leah Brix is a co-founder of the Catholic Country Chronicles Ministry, and the published author of St. Joseph’s Hammer, and A Catholic Mass Prayer Journal. She is deeply passionate about the Catholic faith and dedicated to making it accessible and meaningful for everyday people.

Leah and her husband, Adam, are raising their 9 young children out in the country. She finds time to write in the margins of her day- during nap time, in the car at karate practice, or on the sidelines of a soccer field. Through her words, she hopes to paint a message of hope in her readers' minds and hearts.

Hannah

Hannah Molitor is from central Minnesota, where faith, family, and agriculture have shaped who she is. Raised alongside her seven sisters on her family’s dairy farm she now works with dairy farmers across Minnesota, building relationships and helping farm families make confident decisions for their herds. Whether she is in a barn, around a kitchen table, or at a community event, Hannah loves bringing people together and noticing the sacred in ordinary rural life.

Through podcasting and writing, Hannah hopes to create space for honest conversations about faith, friendship, agriculture, and the beauty found in everyday moments. She is passionate about sharing stories from rural life that remind people that ordinary work matters, and that God often meets us in the most simple and unexpected places.
