Let me introduce myself! My name is Abby Thomas and I am a co-founder of Catholic Country Chronicles. My husband and I are newly-weds that have settled into an adorable home in St. Augusta, MN. I teach elementary music at a Catholic school in the area where I have a deep passion for youth getting involved in ministry. This year I hope to launch a program at school that encourages my students to participate at Mass.

Outside of the classroom I love singing and leading Eucharistic Adoration worship nights, cantoring at mass, and singing for weddings and funerals. It has been so fun using my music degree for a wide range of ministry.

I am a farmer's daughter who enjoys going back to the home farm to help with chores whenever needed. I carry that agriculture background to my house where I garden and hope to do some canning this year.

My husband and I are an active couple. We enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, and biking. We are always looking for new trails so be sure to let me know of your favorite parks!

I want to personally thank you all for the support you have given our blog over the last year. This writing experience has forced me out of my comfort zone but has given me a deeper reliance on the Holy Spirit, who inspires many of our posts. I am grateful to be given this opportunity to evangelize through words.
